These help guides should work with any Norstar CICS & MICS, or Nortel BCM system with recent software revisions.
If the display shows "A.Configuration" upon login you have an older software revision.

If the login code "**266344" doesn't work try "**797836". If this works you have a Nortel BCM.

System Speed Dial
Press Feature **266344
Log: (Password) 266344
System Displays Terminals & Sets  
Press NEXT 3 Times.
System Displays Sys Speed Dial  
Press SHOW.
System Displays Speed Dial #: ___  
Enter Speed Dial number to add. * Starts with 01.
System Displays Speed Dial # 01  
Press SHOW.
System Displays O1: (# or No Number)
Press CHANGE.
Enter in Phone Number (remember to add '9' if you have to use it to dial out).
Press NEXT.
System Displays Use Prime Line  
Press CHANGE to Assign a specific line to dial out on.      
System Displays Display Digits: Y   Should be set to Yes.
System Displays Bypass Restr'n: N   This will allow people to Bypass any Restrictions that 
may be on the phone system for calling externally.
Hit Release to end.
Once the speed dial numbers have been entered,  Press 0, then the speed dial number 
for the system to dial.
